04 / POSTHUMAN FIGURES

Posthuman Figures marks a shift from depicting machines to making images with them. Based initially on early generative AI outputs, the works translate distorted synthetic figures into painting through a multi-stage analogue process of printing, drawing and reinterpretation. Rather than correcting the machine’s mistakes, Kőszeghy uses their anatomical uncertainty as a productive form. The resulting bodies exist somewhere between human figure, technological artefact and speculative organism.
