Machine Bodies brings together early paintings in which enlarged fragments of analogue machines lose their functional identity and begin to resemble bodies, organs or unfamiliar beings. Through shifts of scale and ambiguous framing, technical objects become anthropomorphic without resolving into fixed figures. These works mark the beginning of Kőszeghy’s long-term investigation into the unstable boundary between object, machine and living presence.
